Often the difference between closing a $1,000,000 term case and a $10,000,000 UL sale is properly examining and prepackaging the client's finances for the carrier.

ood insurance underwriting today does not just entail review of medical records to ensure a good rating, but also involves detailed financial underwriting by carriers before approving most large face policy issuances.

As part of our commitment to excellent underwriting, we will make sure that your case is viable from a financial underwriting perspective.  Our President, a CPA with over 24 years of public accounting experience, will personally review all financial information and assist in the development of a proper presentation to the carrier’s underwriter.  We’ll help make a case for the amount of insurance requested and help your clients and their advisors develop an exit strategy plan on borrowed premiums.

We’ll make sure the financial data is in proper form and that everything is packaged in an orderly fashion, making the underwriter’s job easier, with a clear indication of financial wherewithal to justify issuance of a policy.

Case Example – Actual Case:

C

lient had land and other assets that were not performing assets but had some value.  The client had some new start up businesses and was beginning to realize some significant cash flow.  There was an immediate need for life insurance.  We put together a 60 page presentation for the underwriter to present a current and projected financial picture.  We successfully explained how the land would be worth a substantial amount over time and how start up businesses would have significant increases in case flow. In addition to showing the client’s need for the policy, we assisted with the presentation of a plan to pay for the insurance, in the form of an exit strategy,  once the client’s premium finance loan matured. This resulted in the issuance of a $35 million life insurance policy.
